"Down Dog" to Make Oregon Premiere at 2005 BendFilm Festival

(July 20, 2005) LOS ANGELES, California -- "Down Dog" will make its Oregon Premiere at the 2005 BendFilm Festival, to be held September 22 - 25 in Bend, Oregon.  This will mark the second year of this new and quickly growing festival.  In the words of Film Threat magazine, "If the debut is any indication, BENDFILM is on its way to join the ranks of Telluride, Aspen and Sundance as a world class Film Festival.”

Of particular note and interest is the fact that legendary indie filmmaker and Oregon native Gus Van Sant contributed to determinations concerning this year's film program selections.

DOWN DOG will be participating in the competition, vying for a $10,000.00 "Best of Show" Award and the Audience Award, the recipient of which shall be awarded a cash prize based upon gross festival film ticket sales.
